Overview
The Office of Ministerial, Family and Volunteer Services provides incarcerated individuals with access to religious, family, therapeutic, educational and recreational activities through staff, contract service providers and community volunteers. Family reunification programs are also an integral part of this division providing opportunities for inmates to interact with family members in a variety of programs.
Mission
To enable inmates, with the assistance of staff, contractors, and community volunteers, to practice their religious faith and fulfill their religious obligations.
To provide services that support the presence of families as a means of affecting positive change in the lives of inmates.
To offer a variety of services to the inmates, their families, and staff through volunteers from the local communities, as well as paid volunteers from community agencies.
