Collins Correctional Facility is a medium security level facility for males.

Visitation

Driving Directions

Visiting Days: Weekends and Holidays

Visiting Hours:  8:30AM to 3:00PM (Latest arrival time 2:30PM)

Special Housing Unit Visiting Days & Hours: (If Applicable) Incarcerated individuals in SHU custody are allowed one non-legal visit every (7) days during regular visitation hours and days. Side 1 visiting days only (See attached schedule)

Visitation Schedule: Weekend visitation is divided into specific segments of the population by the incarcerated individual's area of housing.   Holiday visitation is open to all incarcerated individuals. See attached schedule.

2025 Visitation Schedule 

Maximum Number of Visits per Day: Unlimited during visiting hours with respect to the maximum number of visitors and the overcrowding policy.

Maximum Number of Visitors per Visit: Three (3) visitors and one (1) child under the age of five (5) will be allowed per visit. The child must sit on an adult’s lap.

Visiting Room Overcrowding Policy: In the event that space considerations require termination of visits, the following procedure will be followed:

  1. Request for volunteers to end their visit.
  2. If no volunteers or space requirements still exist, local visits (visitors within 100 miles of facility) will be terminated after three hours of visitation on a first in, first out basis.
  3. If space requirements continue to exist, visits of incarcerated individuals whose family or friends traveled over 100 miles will be terminated after 3 hours of visitation on a first in, first out basis.
