On September 17, 2021, Marco Ricci was appointed to the position of Deputy Commissioner for Community Supervision. His criminal justice career began in 1990 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Shortly thereafter, he was accepted into the NYS Parole Academy in June, 1992 where he began his 30+ year career with the former Division of Parole and DOCCS.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Ricci held Parole/Community Supervision titles as a Facility Parole Officer, Parole Officer, Senior Parole Officer, Bureau Chief, Assistant Regional Director, Regional Director, Assistant Commissioner, and Associate Commissioner.
