Clinton Correctional Facility is a maximum security level facility for males.

Visitation

Visitation information effective 01/02/2024

Driving Directions

Visiting Days: Daily (including weekends)

Visiting Hours: 8:30AM to 3:00PM (Latest arrival time 2:00PM)

Special Housing Unit Visiting Days & Hours: Incarcerated individuals in SHU custody are allowed one non-legal visit within a seven (7) day period during normal visitation hours. Each week begins on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday

2025 Visitation Schedule 

Visitation Schedule: Visitation is open daily to all incarcerated individuals.

Maximum Number of Visits per Day:  One (1) visit per day

Maximum Number of Visitors per Visit:  Three (3) visitors and one (1) child under the age of five (5) will be allowed to visit. The child must sit on an adult’s lap.

Visiting Room Overcrowding Policy:    In the event that space considerations require termination of visits, the following procedure will be followed:

  1. Request for volunteers to end their visits.
     
  2. If no volunteers or space requirements still exist, local visits (visitors within 100 miles of facility) will be terminated after three (3) hours of visitation on a first in, first out basis.
     
  3. If space requirements continue to exist, visits of incarcerated individuals whose family or friends traveled over 100 miles will be terminated after three (3) hours of visitation on a first in, first out basis.

    * Visits which were given special permission or if an incarcerated individual has not received a visit within six (6) months will be given special consideration, by the Superintendent of Officer of the Day, prior to termination.
