Visiting Hours: 7:30AM to 2:15PM (Latest arrival time 1:30PM)
Special Housing Unit Visiting Days & Hours: Incarcerated individuals in SHU custody are allowed one non-legal visit within a seven (7) day period during regular visitation hours and days. Each week starts on a Saturday and ends on a Friday. There will be no limits on the number of legal visits, subject to reasonable scheduling.
Visitation Schedule: Visits will take place on weekends and Holidays.
Maximum Number of Visits per Day: Unlimited
Maximum Number of Visitors per Visit: Four (4) visitors
Visiting Room Overcrowding Policy: In the event that space consideration requires termination of visits, the following procedures will be followed:
- Request voluntary termination from any visitor first.
- If no volunteers or space requirements still exist, local visits (visitors within 100 miles of facility) will be terminated after three hours of visitation on a first in, first out basis.
- If space requirements continue to exist, visits of incarcerated individuals whose family or friends traveled over 100 miles will be terminated after 3 hours of visitation on a first in, first out basis.
Visits which were given special permission or if an incarcerated individual has not received a visit within 6 months should be given special consideration by the Superintendent or Officer of the Day prior to termination.
Visitors with criminal histories shall only be approved to visit in accordance with Directive #4403, “Visitor Program”, at the discretion of the Superintendent. Persons under probation or parole supervision will also require written permission from the person’s probation or parole officer to visit.
Special Considerations: Due to limited space in the Visitor Hospitality Center, visitors who arrive on the bus should be prepared to wait outdoors. Visitors who arrive via personal transportation will park in a designated location and enter the Visitor Hospitality Center (VHC) for preliminary processing.
