Joseph P. Joseph 

Deputy Commissioner for Program Services 

Joseph P. Joseph was appointed Deputy Commissioner for Program Services in January 2025. Prior to this, he served as Assistant Commissioner for Program Services since 2018, leading initiatives to expand college and vocational training, strengthen partnerships with community-based organizations, and enhance program effectiveness across correctional facilities.

He began his career with the department as a Correctional Counselor and has since gained extensive experience in program management across diverse correctional settings, including male and female facilities at all security levels.

Earlier in his career, Joseph held administrative roles as Deputy Superintendent for Programs and Superintendent of Bedford Hills Correctional Facility.
