Grievances

Complaints must be submitted by a parolee to the Bureau Chief (BC), in writing, and must include the substance or application of any written or unwritten policy, regulation, procedure, rule, or condition of Community Supervision, or any of its program units, or the lack of a policy, regulation, procedure, or rule.

Letters addressed to other regional staff or Central Office staff will not be considered a grievance.

Grievances will only be accepted from a parolee on a Parolee Grievance Complaint Form, which should be submitted to the attention of the BC via U.S. mail using the appropriate Community Supervision Bureau address.

The Parole Grievance Complaint Form may also be emailed to the appropriate Community Supervision Bureau shared electronic mailbox.
