Grievances

Complaints must be submitted by a parolee to the Senior Parole Officer (SPO), in writing, and must include the substance or application of any written or unwritten policy, regulation, procedure, rule, or condition of Community Supervision, or any of its program units, or the lack of a policy, regulation, procedure, or rule.

Letters addressed to other bureau, regional staff, or Central Office staff will not be considered a grievance.

Grievances will only be accepted from a parolee on a Parolee Grievance Complaint Form, which should be submitted to the attention of the SPO via U.S. mail using the appropriate Community Supervision Bureau address.

The Parole Grievance Complaint Form may also be emailed to the appropriate Community Supervision Bureau shared electronic mailbox.
