Pharmacy Aides perform routine manual and clerical activities related to receiving, inventorying, storing, preparing, repackaging, and issuing pharmaceutical supplies in state pharmacy operations.

Go to the Civil Service website, use the search feature to find the examination announcement for Pharmacy Aide and follow the directions to register for the examination.
Pharmacist/SG-25
Pharmacists independently prepare, compound, preserve, and dispense drugs, medicines, and therapeutic devices on the basis of prescriptions or other legal authority. Additionally, Pharmacists may supervise pharmacy aides, interns, and/or other staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a license and current registration to practice pharmacy in New York State.
